A brief built around entertaining and timeless style

When we first visited, it was clear the space needed a complete transformation, in both form and function. Our clients love to entertain, and they wanted a home that felt inviting, timeless, and refined. Given their strong appreciation for British vintage design, moreover, they sought a classic aesthetic with a sense of history and comfort.

A full strip-back, rebuilt around what was already there

We stripped the apartment fully back and relined it completely. From there, we carefully installed new flooring around the existing structural elements, fire services, and plumbing, all while maintaining a clean, cohesive finish. Throughout, the brief called for understated elegance, with every element chosen to enhance, not overpower, the space.

Joinery and fixed fittings, designed around a cherished collection

A key part of the design was integrating the clients’ cherished collection of vintage furniture and artwork into the architecture itself. To that end, we designed bespoke cabinetry, fixed lighting, and joinery to complement and showcase these pieces, creating a seamless blend of old and new. In the end, the result is a sophisticated inner-city apartment that celebrates the owners’ style, while offering warmth, function, and enduring charm.
