However, they typically involve extending carefully toward the rear, adding high-level windows and generous glazing to bring in light, and connecting the living areas directly to the garden and outdoor entertaining spaces. We always work to retain and celebrate what makes the original home special — its proportions, its timber detailing, its street presence — while transforming the way it lives on the inside.
